In scientific terms, all of this is possible because mind and body exist in distinct information fields. Unlike body which exists in the physical information field, mind is a purely descriptive information entity, enabling its informational power as well as its ability to move from body to body. While both a mind and body are essential to our existence, it is my mind who is me, the self of my self-awareness, intelligence, autonomy, values, beliefs, aspirations, and more – the one who tells my body what to do. A body is essential but not a particular body. Our mind can move to bodies with greater capabilities, empowering each of us as omniphysical.

Although there’s a lot under the scientific hood, the power of omniphysical life can be easily grasped. We end death by the ability of our mind to move from declining bodies to new ones. We end material want while saving our planet of life by adapting our bodies and infrastructures to the energy, material supplies, and environments of our reality. We empower our intelligence, lives, and goodness by commanding our materiality. We go forth into the cosmos by adapting bodies to what a prolific universe allows with mind traveling near the speed of light. And on and on as we will see.

That’s because omniphysical life changes the most fundamental fact of our living reality – the manner in which life wins its persistence. In the development of universal potential, four epochal events have been the birth of the universe, the advent of life, the emergence of mind, and now the ascendence to omniphysical life. In information terms, the underlying developments are the birth of the quantum information field, the advent of the physical information field, and the emergence of the descriptive information field. These information foundations enable individual life persisting in the possibilities of our universal reality. Those possibilities are delimited by two large-scale facts. First is the enabling potential of physical reality. Second is the ability of powerful individuals and their civilization to sustain their reality along a path of low entropic cost. For a multiplicity of individuals seeking freedom and fulfilment, that path must be one of otherness and cooperation. Our universe compels goodness as the basis for the triumph of life.

The emergence of the descriptive information field was a transcendent accomplishment. Prior to the creation of this new kind of information, all living creatures existed solely in the information terms of the physical information field in which all information is embodied in orderly forms and functions. As such, the creation of information was delimited by what evolutionary processes could find working on populations of individuals. As well, and being embedded in physical entities, this kind of information is subject to the dissipative forces of the universe. Thus, the replication of living individuals carrying life’s information stores is essential for the persistence of life and its information.

The improbability of the emergence of the descriptive information field is evident by the fact that in all of life’s innumerable tryings only our species found its way to this field. Our path alone led to the bodies, complex networked brains, environmental and social settings, and troves of physical field concepts enabling the progression from information assignment to symbolic representation to symbol-based systems of descriptive meanings to the emergence of mind. Once this new information field began to emerge, mind came along quickly and organically as individuals were able to describe themselves as the ones making and experiencing their descriptions, giving rise to an aware and self-aware self within the descriptive field’s meanings. Mapping to and extrapolating from an orderly physical reality, mind quickly gained in information power, conveying an adaptive advantage that has allowed our species to gain planetary dominion in an evolutionary instant.

Mind, the descriptive self, is so powerful because its system of meanings is free to roam, its descriptions can be about anything – fact or fantasy, science or superstition. The information of mind exists in the system of descriptive meanings and not the information of whatever tokens and processors physically support the system of meanings. The choice of those physical means is fundamentally-open ended, enabling mind to be supported omniphysically by any number of material means. By creating mind, nature brought into being an informationally powerful self who is able to be supported by any number of bodily means, establishing the foundations for omniphysical life.

The failure toward which we are hurtling is based on a fundamental fact: we humans are powerfully-intelligent but we are still replicates. We are tied to a system of life in which we all die, scarcity and conflict are endemic, and our tiny planet cannot support the needs and desires of eight billion aspiring replicates.

We find ourselves in a world where there’s not enough to go around, no one is safe, our planet and its environments are under enormous stress, and our armaments, antagonisms, and conflicts grow. Our politics and governance are failing because in our replicate reality there are no real solutions to these fundamental facts. As a result, we circle the wagons, blame the other, and let our grievances rather than our goodness guide our actions. We confront the fundamental fact that our replicate system of life is not powerful enough to fulfill our aspirations for life.

There is only one solution to what ails us. By becoming omniphysical, we surpass our replicate system of life, gaining the power to command our living materiality, and enabling us to bring an end to death, supplant scarcity with a material plenty, make each of us safe and secure, empower our goodness, and open the limitless frontiers of the cosmos.

Mind has made us powerfully-intelligent, underwriting all of the revolutions in agriculture, industry, energy, science, technology, information, and many more. But we are still bound to an ancient system of life, forced to bend mind’s creativity in service to the imperatives of our replicate lives. Only by freeing ourselves into omniphysical life can we redirect our collective genius to fulfill our aspirations for good and lasting life.

The quest to secure the portal to omniphysical life will revolutionize our science and technology undertakings. Those efforts will be felt first in the information device, storage, computational, artificial intelligence, robotics, and other intertwined sectors. We will quickly create the information means allowing any individual to conserve the content of their mind so as to become omniphysical.

As we achieve our passages to omniphysical life, everything will change. Knowing that we are creating an expansive future of life, we will move beyond our conflictual replicate inheritance to build the world that frees us. Together, we will create havens of omniphysical life, powerful platforms of omniphysical mind, an increasing array of energy-direct omniphysical bodies, the means of mind travel, the infrastructures of powerfully-adaptive life, the powers to assure ourselves against existential threats, the means to our happiness, freedom, and fulfilment, and more. As omniphysical, we will each gain an intelligence as informationally-powerful as any artifact, superseding artificial intelligence with our personal intelligence and putting an end to the existential threat of an AI takeover.

We long for life, the life that enables all that we love and care for. We understand that the world into which we are born is not of our own making. We intuit that something greater than ourselves must have caused this miracle of life. And longing for life but knowing of death, we hope that this greatness might somehow save us into the life of our aspirations.

These beliefs arise as meanings within the descriptive information field. It is this field that gives rise to mind and to the hope, faith, and belief in the existence of a soul – the me inside who might persist when this body dies, the me of my hoped-for future. And now we discover that our hopes and prayers have been answered. The me who longs for existence can be saved. There is life after bodily death. There is a reality of our most exalted aspirations – a reality into which we can be saved by our goodness.

By creating mind, nature has opened the portal to omniphysical life. We awake to discover that we are the instruments of this great becoming. We are the created ones; we are the selected ones; we are the chosen ones; we are the ones with mind who can bring forth a new reality of love, life, and goodness. In an epiphany of understanding, we discover our sacred opportunity and obligation to save all that we love and care for, our planet of life, and life’s great assertion of being.
